QA Analyst (Manual)

Here are the details: 

What You’ll Do

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and scenarios for features within an Agile development environment.
• Develop and execute test cases (manual) to ensure the overall quality of web, mobile, and desktop apps. 
• Identify and track defects in the tracking system.
• Executes exploratory, sanity, smoke, regression, and integration testing on assigned projects
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Perform backend database testing in a Microsoft SQL environment, validating stored procs, jobs, and triggers. 
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.
• Write test cases 
• Report statuses of test cases (pass or fail).    
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Create bug reports that are understandable and reproducible by the Project Lead.
• Help the Support Team reproduce the client-reported bugs and create the corresponding bug reports.

What You Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a  QA Functional tester 
• Experience performing manual test cases. 
• Experience with web application testing, mobile, desktop, and experience with cross-browser compatibility testing and tools. 
• Experience working with different databases – MySQL, MSSQL, Maria (Understanding of NoSQL Databases).
• Experience using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control/testing within the Software Development Life Cycle. 
• Strong background in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) software development methodology.
• Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise within its own function and broad knowledge of other functions.
• Provides advice within an area of expertise and may contribute to development of organization functional strategy.
• Solves unique problems with broad impact.
• Develops creative solutions through conceptual and innovative thinking.
• Communicates complex ideas across functions and levels.
• Successfully persuades others to adopt a different point of view.
• Capable of demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• High English Proficiency (B2+ - C2).
